Osteopathy has been said to treat problems commonly arising in the musculoskeletal system (bones and muscles) through injury, disease, abuse and misuse. Patients seek treatment for a wide variety of conditions, including back pain, repetitive strain injury, changes to posture in pregnancy, postural problems caused by driving or work strain, the pain of arthritis and minor sports injuries.

The Osteopathy Treatment
An Osteopathic treatment is composed of massage, soft tissue techniques and gentle manipulation which will guide and encourage your body to regain its natural position. It does not have to include bone crunching and our Osteopath will outline the best treatment protocol for you plus a stretch and exercise rehabilitation guide.
Upon your first visit you will undertake a health screening process so that our Osteopath can try to understand the root cause of your problems, you may find, at times, that where you are experiencing the pain is not actually where the problem begins. Depending on the site of the pain the removal of clothes may be required.
