Jeremy has been a practising sports and remedial massage therapist since 2005. He has a background in competitive sport and sports coaching, having been a co-founder, captain and then coach with the Tolworth Reckers in the Surrey Basketball League.
Although having a sporting background, Jeremy's experiences with massage therapy, soon made him realise its emotional and spiritual benefits, as well as its physical ones.
From both these and family experiences Jeremy developed his interest in the use of complimentary therapy within the field of palliative care. Jeremy undertook training in Holistic Palliative Care at St. Wilfrid's Hospice in Chichester, a course he passed with distinction honours. He now uses these skills every week on a voluntary basis at a local hospice.
For the past two years Jeremy has been furthering his knowledge base in this field. This year studying at the Dr.Vodder School in Austria, under the tutorage of Professor Hildergard Wittlinger, who herself worked with Dr.Emil Vodder in the pioneering of MLD and CDT.
Jeremy is now an accredited MLD/CDT therapist, qualified to treat pathologies such as lymphoedema (primary and secondary) and venous insufficiency, as well as a host of other ailments and conditions which MLD is indicated for.
