What is Colon Massage?
Colon Massage is an external, non invasive abdominal massage to treating the colon and associated abdominal organs of digestion. Colon Massage uses a variety of Eastern and Western techniques to treat the colon holistically.

How does Colon Massage work?
Colon massage seeks to restore the whole digestive system to its pre-stressed state, by relaxing all the muscles involved and getting them working properly, settling the nerves and taking the tension out of the fascia surrounding all the vital organs. Using traditional acupressure and western deep tissue massage techniques this truly holistic approach to abdominal health has very profound effects
What doe a Colon Massage Treatment involve?
Before your Colon Massage you will be asked to complete a questionnaire outlining a brief medical history, a few questions to ensure that deep abdominal massage is right for you and what you are looking to achieve from the treatment. During the treatment your therapist will use a range of massage and holding techniques to work the different abdominal fascia and connective tissues. You will also receive specialised back massage to gently work the tissues behind the abdominal organs.
24 hours before your appointment we ask that you drink plenty of water and eat good, healthy, wholesome foods, try to avoid fast food, fatty, processed food types and alcohol. After your treatment it is advised that you avoid drinking alcohol for 24 hours and eat good, nurturing, healthy food to enhance the treatment
Who can benefit from Colon Massage?
Colon Massage is not advisable for anyone who has had abdominal surgery in the past 8 weeks, anyone who is pregnant or anyone suffering from chronic medical conditions.
Because colon massage is a non invasive treatment using a variety of differing pressures according to the patient and their particular condition it can be used by anyone who does not fall into the aforementioned categories
